Social IQ ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Name — provided optionally through Sign in with Apple
• Email address — provided through Sign in with Apple for account creation
• Responses to in-app quizzes, lessons, and scenario exercises
• Preferences and settings you configure within the App

Identifiers collected automatically:

• User ID — generated by Supabase (database), Apple Sign-In, and Mixpanel (analytics) to maintain your account and track progress
• Device ID — collected by Adjust (attribution SDK) to measure which marketing channels bring users to the App

Usage and analytics data collected automatically:

• Product interaction — Mixpanel tracks app launches, lesson starts and completions, taps, onboarding steps, and scenario answers to help us improve the learning experience
• Other usage data — Mixpanel's automatic event tracking collects session data (app opens, session duration)

Diagnostic data collected automatically:

• Crash data — crash reports and error logs may be collected by Mixpanel and Superwall to help us identify and fix issues
• Performance data — app launch times, response times, and resource usage may be collected by Mixpanel and Superwall to monitor and improve App performance
• Other diagnostic data — additional SDK telemetry from Mixpanel and Superwall used for stability monitoring and quality assurance

Purchase and subscription data:

• Purchases — Superwall tracks subscription status and purchase events to manage your access to premium content. All payments are processed by Apple; we never see or store your payment information

Advertising data:

• Advertising data — Adjust collects data related to ad interactions and campaign attribution to help us understand how users discover the App

How We Use Your Information

• To provide, personalize, and improve the App experience
• To track your progress through lessons and exercises
• To analyze usage patterns and improve our content
• To measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns (via Adjust attribution)
• To manage subscriptions and premium access (via Superwall)
• To diagnose crashes, monitor performance, and maintain App stability
• To send notifications related to your progress (with your permission)

Tracking Disclosure

Certain data is used for tracking as defined by Apple — specifically, linking data collected from this App with third-party data for advertising measurement purposes. The following data types are used for tracking:

• Device ID and Advertising Data — collected by Adjust for cross-app advertising attribution and campaign measurement

All other data types (Name, Email Address, User ID, Purchases, Product Interaction, Other Usage Data, Crash Data, Performance Data, and Other Diagnostic Data) are not used for tracking purposes.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services that may collect and process data:

• Supabase — database and user authentication
• Mixpanel — in-app analytics and event tracking
• Adjust — advertising attribution and campaign measurement
• Superwall — paywall management and subscription tracking
• Apple (App Store / Sign in with Apple) — payment processing, subscription management, and authentication

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect health or fitness data, financial information, precise location, contacts, photos, videos, audio, browsing or search history, or any sensitive personal information.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices via Supabase. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services.

Your Rights

You may:

• Request access to your personal data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Opt out of non-essential data collection
• Disable notifications at any time through device settings

Children's Privacy

Social IQ is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the App or on this page with a revised effective date.
